VENUE STAFF

We are recruiting a new full time Assistant Manager to assist our venue manager here at Revenge – Brighton’s biggest and busiest LGBTQ+ music venue and nightclub. We are looking for sensible, yet fun, candidates looking to develop their career in nightlife, and a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community.

Required skills & experience:

• At least 1 years experience in a management or supervisory role in the nightlife industry

• A deep understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and safe spaces

• Prepared to ‘muck in’ and lead by example

• Ability to maintain a postive attitude in a high-pressure environment, and motivate the team to do the same

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Excellent time management & organizational skills

• Strong administrative skills and a knowledge of Word and Excel

• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards

• Personal license preferred but not required

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the running of Revenge

• Running the venue in the absence of the Club Manager

• Assisting in managing staff

• Stock ordering, rotation and management

• Taking in deliveries

• Working as a part of a management team

• Working with security to ensure the venue remains a safe space

PAY: £15-£16 per hour depending on experience. Plus tips, with the ability to take early advances on your wages, plus staff perks and opportunities for career progression.

Start date: ASAP

We’re looking for a self employed toilet attendant!

You’ll be selling your own stock of perfumes, deodorants and so on, and you’ll be looking after the cubicles throughout the night.

You’ll be in contact with our security and management team via radio.

Stock will be provided by you, and all monies made will be kept by yourself.
